Hi there. I’m Dr Asha Martin a medical oncologist and clinical haematologist from the the nature isle of the Caribbean, the commonwealth of Dominica.

I have been privileged to work in these fields since 2008, first as a junior physician and now as a consultant , having graduated with a DM in both from the University of the West Indies Mona campus.

Over the years I have developed a special interest in breast, colon and prostate cancers as well as sickle cell disease and chronic leukemia. These conditions have shaped my career, inspiring me to stay on the cutting edge of management and research to better serve my patients.

This website was started with one simple goal : to provide credible, relatable and easily accessible information for patients, their caregivers and the general public.

I know how overwhelming a diagnosis of cancer can be and I want this space to be a source of clarity , comfort and empowerment as you navigate this journey.
